Lt. Col. (Ret.) Brian Birdwell is a native Texan, decorated military veteran and lifelong conservative Republican proudly representing Texas Senate District 22 since 2010. On 20 June 2025, Senator Birdwell announced that he would not seek reelection in 2026.
